Florence has always been a popular destination for many couples in the world and surely not by coincidence! This city has the power to enchant you since the first moment you see it.
With it’s little teeming streets, the squares with the monuments, the history expressed with marvellous pieces of art spread all over the centre. If you are in love and want to build nice memories of your relationship you can’t go wrong with Florence! There are so many perfect places for romantic walks such as Ponte Vecchio, Boboli Gardens, or Piazza della Signoria.
If you want to admire the beauty of the city from the top, then Piazzale Michelangelo is the right one for you! From there you can enjoy a stunning view of Florence with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del fiore as undisputed protagonist and the Arno river.By the way, having a photo session in Florence does not mean having only one kind of scenario. Not necessarily.
In fact you just need to have a short drive by car to enjoy a very different landscape which is the famous Tuscan countryside.
Although the most popular part showing the hills and the golden grain fields is actually in the south part of Tuscany, you can anyway rely on a local wedding photographer with experience and knowledge of the surroundings in Florence, to ensure a lovely afternoon exploring two locations completely different from each other.
This couple session is a perfect example of what I am talking about. I met Sara and Giulio in Piazzale Michelangelo, we stayed there for a while, something around 30 minutes, just to have a little walk in the quiet spots around the square, and some cute photos with the lovely view.
From there we took the car and went out, to get to a very special spot situated only 30 minutes away from Florence among the Tuscan hills.
The sun was beginning to set when we arrived, the moment was simply perfect!
A warm and soft light was gently stroking Sara e Giulio, while they were cuddling and walking in the vineyards. The mountains were covered by a reddish violet colour, and the atmosphere was so calm.
An amazing moment which ended with the happy hour time Italian style with wine and charcuterie board!
I was not joking when I said this place is perfect for the romantic ones. It takes so little to create a beautiful day, and stunning memories of it.
